How have you been? x4
No complaints here about twenty-thirteen.
This past month has been full of new opportunities. I've been called in to work a lot more which has kept me busy. Had an interview for a internship/volunteer position in the city and also interviewed at a behavioral health facility. Currently feeling hopeful, and optimistic (very unlike me). Excited for what February has in store.

Food for the sick
Caught a cold earlier last week, but had to cut it short. So happy I kicked its butt! Got called in to work a few days last week and I got more working days on the way so I gotta stay healthy!!

89!!
My grandma turned 89, had a gathering at my aunts for the occasion. Played bingo with the family, 50 cents a game.. So much fun!
Not my size
Ugh hate being fat! I so wanted to buy this top it buttoned up in the back and was totally my style (which by the way was defined today as thrifty but stylish). unfortunately it was short from the front and clearly not my size. Bummed!

first week of 2013: Randoms
Egg committed suicide... kapooie!
Traditions... Danielle and I had our annual Kahlua night :)
NY greetings from this little guy adorable!!
Sweaters galore.. in need of some retail therapy shopping feels so good sometimes.
Had Karol over on NY day she gave me the low down on the proposal! Cutest story ever, they got engaged in Seattle in early November. She told me the sweetest story with a scavenger hunt type day full of adventure, love notes, and diamond ring so cute! Hands down Ricky has got to be the most romantic dude I know. Excited for whats to come of course I'm going to this destination wedding!
Music
Missed going to bars and listening to live music started the year off with a show in San Jose with Brenda. We saw Owl paws... Miss their music and still play their cd all the time. They put on a good show and even played some old ones. Best of luck to them in the coming year.
2013!!
Made a last minute decision on NYE to volunteer at Sea of Dreams. Decided that if I start the new year off working then perhaps it'll bring me luck in the new year and ill find that 'ideal RN position' I'm still seeking. Ran into my three cousins, and Ryan (not surprised to see them there). All in all not a bad night. Survived a shift of work 8am-12 and rockmeding 7pm - 5am.
