New Crash

Tagged along with the guys and headed over to guitar center with them to buy a new crash symbol for the drumset. They spent there time making sure they picked he right one. We went to the studio where we met up with Devon and Mia they jammed for a while damn they sound sooo good when they jam. Had 2 New Castles, then went to Ihop for some eats and called it a night.

Pacifica 4/24

Saw Commissure play in Pacifica on Friday then headed to Seabowl for some eats and beer. They put on a good show and there were alot of people that come out to see them. It was rad. Cool buttons too. Totally didnt know that this place in Pacifica existed i mean I heard of Terra nova before but i had never seen it, pretty weird place hella hidden. Anyway hella excited for thier next show. 5/8 at the retox lounge in SF!

Seattle

Just picked up Brother and his Boyfriend from the airport.. they spent the weekend in Seattle. He says I'd totally fit in with the crowd, shoot I really wouldn't mind going :)

A Cold One

Totally in need of a cold one today. As we searched for an open sushi restaurant on a Sunday afternoon in San Bruno, we made a pit stop at Newell's where I had a refeshing New Castle.

We decided to head out to SF. The temperature dropped like 20 degrees but it was still pretty nice. We took a walk through the botonical gardens of Golden Gate Park. There were some pretty mean looking squirrles out there too.

Beautiful weekend! There was no way I was gonna spend it doing anythng other than being out in the sun! Went to MariMar for a shrimp cocktail! yum.. yum.. yum!

Midnight Easter Feast

Stopped by Bens after work on Saturday night and made Banitsa ;) Well lets just say its not as good as the ones the native Bulgarians make. I realized why people open their egg containers at grocery stores too. Apparently I didnt get 12 large eggs; I eneded up with 4 large ones 2 medium sized ones and 6 small eggs. How rude! On the brighter side one of my large eggs had twins insisde! Yeeee! Happy Easter!

Banitsa

Mmmmmmmm.. So far this is my favorite Bulgarian treat. I've had the restaurant bought stuff but the home-made ones are the best. I plan on making this in the very near future.

White Tea & Scones

Spent the majority of my day at Borders with my Amberita. We had about 12 cups of tea each and some delicious treats. I witnessed such a cute gesture between an old man and this stranger while I was there.This old man had been practicing his chess skills with a book for a couple of hours by himself. A younger guy came in and asked him if he wanted someone to play chess with and sat down with him. I saw them play a couple of games and make some friendly conversation. I love old people and moments like these.

The return of Garden State

Gonz lost this movie like 2 years ago after I let him borrow it. He finally bought it back for me :) I love this movie just got done watching it. The soundtrack is superb, The Shins, Simon and Garfunkle, that one song from the Postal Service, and Cold Play. I'm watching the deleted scenes right now. Favorite line from the movie: "good luck exploring the infinite abyss! Hey you too!" What an awesome movie.

Shaterday

Went to Amoeba in search of some wanted music. I love there 2 dollar section, if you buy 4 you get one for free. I pick cd's based on the cover art, its so much fun not knowing what your gonna get till you go home and play it. Some may call this a waste of money... I call it being random and not caring. Seriously though a part of me sorta feels bad for the cds, they deserve a chance to be heard. Anyway to my surprise all 4 cds were really good! After that we chilled and uploaded the cd's we bought. Gonz played some guitar and then we went to Gunters where I had spaghetti, Gonz finished the plate for me though too much food. The waitress was really weird! the other downer was the shit on the miller I ordered which I returned.
