Life is so Peculiar

What a day. Its so bad but I keep trying to stay positive so thats good. I'm almost afraid to step outside completely feel like badness is looming over my head. So how much worse can today get? I'm not even trying to find out. I love my positive attitude though, gotta look towards the bright side of everything... On another note camping cancelled cus of bad weather? WTF seriously just check the weather yesterday for memorial day weekend and it was looking all good. This blog post lies!

Cute!

Looking for a watch since I'm going to be needing one in nursing school. Saw this one at Sears. pics kinda blurry but its a mini mouse nurse watch with a white strap which will be the color of my uniform. So many things i need to buy, like one of those rolling back packs (nerd alert), a stethoscope, white scrubs (ewww), white leather shoes (double ewww!), they suggested fanny packs! Omg how many fashion Fopaux will I be committing here? Oh wells, whatever it takes!

Boy Needs a Dog

He won't take his hand off of Nookie. Good thing Nookies happy anywhere as long as there is a blanket. Kito says he wants to take him home so he can sleep over his house. He's been asking his mom for a dog.

Nookie the model

Ron took pictures of the Nookster while he stayed in Hayward during the month of February. He's taking a photography class and his teacher really liked his pictures of Nookie. Not too sure what the assignmnet was, anyway they framed and wrapped one of em up and gave it to my mother as a Mother's Day gift. Not looking like a puppy anymore his old age is starting to show :(

Poor Birdy

Still unable to fly the poor thing is trying to stay warm inching himself towards the sunlight which will soon disapear. Looks like a luck stray cat will get a good meal tonight. Sucks cus I don't really like cats.

Leaving the Nest too Soon

Poor baby birdy, he must have fallen out of his nest. It never fails every spring we get birds making love nests in our trees/bushes. The momma is keeping an eye on him though as we walk by him she swoops down to attack. Tried to take another picture with his beak open but she didn't let me. I think its feeding time.

Broken Social Scene @ the Fillmore 5/1

So awesome still can't believe I met some of the guys from the band! Everything worked out so perfectly amazing it all happened by chance. Sort of hahah! I convinced Gonz to head down to SF kinda early so we can hang out in Japan Town, have some drinks and be one of the first in line so we can get a good spot up front. We went to this bar called sundance something where the waiter hooked it up, he was cool and we chit chatted bout Mexico soccer and kids and stuff. I was definitely feeling tipsy after that, mmmhmmm jack and coke(my poison)So we headed to the venue it was really early though so just as we were deciding to go for a walk we see two guys walk out from the side. So I started to follow them, stalker status! They were talking bout how nice SF was. After a block we stopped to cross the street thats when Gonz asked if they were from Broken Social and they said yes. We started talking to them about everything and anything. I took my picture with them they were really nice. They were headed back to their hotel and I told them, i planed to follow them and they were like thats cool. They warned me not to get too drunk for their show. I told em they should come back again soon cus it sold out so fast and that I paid more for my ticket but didn't mind. They said they would make it worth the price I paid. It was so cool! i asked em where was the best place to stand and they told me where. I told them that I was gonna be right in the front! After 4 blocks of walking with them I realized I was actually talking to them and started to get all groupie fan 'tini bopper like' excited, after some squeals that sounded like this "yeeeeee" they were like please don't squeal. LOL, it was just too much and way exciting I couldn't stop smiling! So as we were headed closer to the hotel, we said 'goodbye' and that we'd see them soon. They stopped to say good bye to us, they definatly didn't have to do that I mean but they did which makes them even that much more cool. Ughh definitely once in a life time thing. So on to the show we were so stoked off meeting them and walking with them. we stood right under Andrew like we said we would. We made eye contact several times during the show and when he knelt down to fix his pedal, I smiled and gave him a little wave to which he acknowledged us both with a nod and a smile. Ahhhhh Amazing! I wish I would have asked them to play my favorite song from them Shampoo suicide, now that would have just made it beyond amazing for me. Dang I tell everyone I want that song to play at my wedding too, wish I told them that cus I think its hell of a complimant hahaha. Now that i think of it I would have brought up some more things and would have tried to not look so retarded in my pic with them but whatevs we got lucky and such an amazing show they played!

Gifts! for Meadow

My niece turns 1 tomorrow! Getting all her gifts ready. I went with a sporty theme, got her a swim suite, with a floating thingy, a carebears basketball hoop, a strawberry short cake mitt with ball, and a giants onsie.

Plans

The lighter outline is my house layout now without the seperate garage the darker lines are what the house will look like including the lighter ones to the right. Pretty much extending it and making it bigger. They are getting permits and seeing if we can create a semi side/backyard along hillside ave.

Once upon a weekend..

I was not nearly as stressed out as I am these days. I spent a saturday at a park playing with Kito making friends with little kids. Kito learned how to play some tennis against concrete haha those poor rackets and then I drank a 40oz without passing out. It was nice.

what a tease of a teas test

Just read the instructions and it saysssss.. if you passed the test already you don't need to take it just submit your scores there is NO expiration date!!! Yayyy! You'd think I'd know by now that you always gotta read the instructions. So its official I am in! Now I just gotta go threw with it and pass all my clinicals! I sure hope their NCLEX passing rate is high.

FINALLY

Got myslef into the nursing program at CSM, after 3 years of applying! I sorta knew it would happen this way. I rushed home from borders to open the letter, after being on campus all morning... meeting with professors and buying my cap and gown for graduation. Before starting my health science degree at CSUEB in 2008 I almost got in to the nursing program. I was #20 on the list and didn't make it. I didn't bother applying for 2009 since I was in the middle of getting my BS. I did however take the TEAS test for nursing and passed back in 2008. So here I go again, I have 1 week to take that TEAS test and pass in order to secure my spot in the program. Amber gave me a study guid for the exam last year when she got in good looking out, I'll be reviewing that this weekend. Looks like all the pieces are starting to fall together, in the right places. As for now I have these classes to finish up. This quarter has proven to be one of the most time consuming, so I guess I'm glad I don't have a job right now. Honestly I'm hating this quarter a bunch of group projects with people I'v never met cause my classes are online.
