Ben and I craving a little something sweet right after having eaten.. yep that is nothing new for us. I seen this cute little spot as we walked on up Valencia yesterday. It was called Frjtz (no vowel so I'm guessing that is not a word) ordered up the Horta crepe. It took me right back to the days of being young having my mom scrape the bowl of bananas and sour creme mmmmmmm.... nothing better! I could live right inside that crepe.

My hoarding and sentimental tendencies have led me to holding on to this hat box full of not all but just the most special cards/ pictures/ gifts I've received from past bfs. Taking a second look at some of this stuff I realized how mean I was to my first ever. And then how sweet I was to the ones who never deserved it. Oh well. Also realized all guys have the same crooked writing. It's a good thing most of these things were dated or I wouldn't have been able to tell what was from which one. Alas coming to the conclusion that although at one time I really cherished some of these items their meaning has depleted and there really is no point in holding on to any of it. Adios hat box of random odds and ends.

Silent movie

Just saw this movie it was so cute. Loved how different it was from everything else that is out. The entire movie was pretty much silent; when acting was more of an art. The movie reminded me a lot of Singing in the Rain (hmm Gene Kelly) it pretty much paralleled the transition of silent films into talky films. What an awesome time in history.
