Birthday Recap

Perfect 75+ degree weather. First stop of the day (: Ric got me a free car rinse via huge sprinklers that turned on, it was time for a car wash.

Dinner with the besties at Luna Park. Awesome company amazing food and drinks couldn't have asked for anything better.

Alex!!!!! You made my day so special! A million thank yous for traveling across our vast country just to be present on my Birthday!!!

Got myself a free doughnut via, I waited 45 min for my brunch sandwich I wasn't complaining bout it though since I wasn't very hungry to start. Heh just saw a Japanese dude in a blue Teddy bear apron and wife beater.

Cut down my med surge book. Darn thing was the weight of a baby a healthy 7.6 lb baby boy oowiieee!!

Fathers Day!

Wished my brother a happy fathers day and took his little girl to my house. I can't believe how big she is, she is out growing that car seat! We stopped off at the mall picked up some cards and a gift. My dad was super happy to see her. He had both his grand kids with him :)

Ambers grad party

Went to Castro valley for Amber's grad party at her aunts house. It was crazy like a taxidermist fanatics dream. They had about 30 animal heads from Africa and other places. The house was covered with dead animals it was insane.

Ric has a tombstone after 6 mo. I plan to go visit the site tomorrow for my birthday. I really like it though and the message on the bottom and it sure beats that little marker that was there in its place.

Weekday BBQ

Weather has been getting nicer. We had an impromptu BBQ on a Thursday at Dolores on the upper section. We had carne asada and even made smores! Enjoyed myself laying in the grass reading some short stories.

On our way up to sign hill saw these cats playing in a driveway. They were clearly in love and making out. On our way back down they were sitting like this just staring at us. So not a cat person but I thought this was post worthy.

Finally there is a mirror in that room where I can sit and make my face or check my fit. Think I was trying to take a picture of my bruised pinky knuckle cause I thought punching a bag of ice was a good idea.

Night before the big 24, 1. Dinner at B Star with friends. 2. Music, video games, zombie movies. 3. Received flask and bottle of Jack. 4. Cake! 5. Happy Birthday song x3 plus a very dramatic rendition at midnight.

Having his favorite hang over remedy, menudo Sunday morning. Yes, I tried to think of everything to make his day special even covered breakfast.

Went out with the guys from school for a dinner in Japan Town first time trying Korean BBQ it was very interesting to say the least.

First weekend of my summer vaca!

was spent sleeping in Borden's bed while the funnest party of my lifetime went on around me. Fun! - Mario who was way too cute for me that day refused to cuddle.. bummer

Thats my Amber walking down the aisle to get on stage for the pinning ceremony. Being part of NSA as busy as its going to keep me has been a great experience! I got an inside scoop of whats ahead. Crazzzyyy to think I'll (hopefully) be here next year!

Decisions! Will I wear regular scrubs? or a dress? a nursing hat? and who is worthy enough of pinning me?

We set up our first fundraising event for the Nursing program. Luckily my classes final was a little sooner than the others, it gave us enough time to set it all up. It turned out pretty great met some new 1st year students and it was nice to see classmates relaxed after finals and all.
